André Hallak
André Hallak has a master's degree in Arts from the School of Visual Arts at UFMG, where he developed an investigation into the relationship between Contemporary Art and Documentary Video, a subject that has accompanied him throughout his career. He is currently studying for a doctorate in Communication at UFRJ, where he is expanding the research he began during his master's degree with a focus on video installations. He works in the audiovisual circuit, developing creative and coordination work, as well as being a director, editor, photographer, producer and educator. His main focus is contemporary documentaries, video art, cinema and video installations. He is currently working with video artist Eder Santos, with whom he started Trem Chic, a video, art and multimedia production company. He teaches postgraduate courses at the Guignard School of UEMG.
