DIGITAL ARTS AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLINGENCE: RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF ARTISTIC INTERFACES
Pablo Gobira
This project aims to study the relationship between Artificial Intelligence (AI) and arts by conceptually specifying the ways in which they are used in the production of works, as well as the categorization of these poetic interfaces applied in the field of digital arts. The main purpose here is to investigate, research, think about and possibly develop poetic interface(s) that uses Artificial Intelligence in making Digital Arts works. At the same time, we present a discussion on how the digital arts have been impacted by Artificial Intelligence provided by large companies (such as Microsoft, Google, IBM, etc.) Through a bibliographical survey, we develop the relationship between A.I. (machine learning and deep learning) and Digital Arts and we also map the digital arts works on the national scene that involve Artificial Intelligence in some way. |
