INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF ART, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY - DIGITAL ARTS' SEMINAR (CIACT-SAD)
The CIACT-SAD held its first edition in 2015 and has held an edition every year since. Some content to be developed / discussed in the upcoming events already have practical results, such as articles, essays and research developed by its organizers and collaborators since 2010.
The CIACT-SAD aims to understand, analyse and document the contemporary Brazilian situation of the use of technologies in the field of digital arts intersecting with the other areas in sciences, communication and public policies in this context. This is done from thematic axes and through the participation of diverse professionals, among them, teachers, researchers, artists, authors, curators and managers of organizations in the country. This way, the contribution to the field of technology, arts and communication studies is by gathering together field professionals into emerging discussions and development. We want to bring together authors and agents from the field in a timely event where they can freely contribute their experiences to good practices and exchange information in the Brazilian context through a contemporary situational lens. The initiative is already common in other countries such as Canada, the Netherlands, Germany, and now, we intend to continue the work and discussions that have already been started in Brazil. |
